so i’m back to nightshift this week (and next) which is not all bad. After a while i get a bit moody from disrupted sleep patterns, but I do tend to eat really well on nightshift… I take in all sorts of good vegetarian stuff packed full of protien and fibre. Also I do huge patrols up all the firestairs which is great exercise.
Anyway yesterday I trained chest. Gym was a bit busier than usual and so i had to improvise a little bit, changed the order around and used some different stuff. Started with cable scoops instead of crossovers, and put the crossovers in 2nd last in place of the scoops. Also i used a seated chest press machine instead of bench press.
Well, I’m feeling a bit tender in the chest today, so it must have been pretty good!
Today is back day. I will head off in a half hour or so, and hopefully have time for an hour nap before work.
Also this week I’m trying a high GI snack immediately after training, to provide an insulin spike that should go straight into glycogen replenishment.
Well gotta run off and have my shake.
