it’s that time of year where it’s really quite difficult to be good at making it to the gym, eating right or even updating your fitness blog regularly!
I mean… you’ve got xmas lunches and dinner with the family, probably some work related lunches, boozing and partying… and then there’s public holidays when the gym might not be open… personally i have consumed a metric shitload of banned substances such as soft drinks, chocolate biscuits & white bread, not to mention all the jaegermeister last night for NYE.
So what tho, eh? You gotta LIVE a bit too, people.
Anyway I’ve been having a good time, but I’m kinda relieved the party season is now over and it’s time to back into a good training routine and healthy nutrition.
I suppose my New Years Resolutions are the same as every year, stay in shape and be healthy. Also I’ll try to finish my course and get qualified as a personal trainer as soon as I can. In particular though I guess i should resolve to finally get my lungs into shape with some regular cardio training like I have been talking about (but not actually doing) for so long now.
Will train chest after work tomorrow, and then will be working over the weekend as well so won’t have a chance to do much then. On monday i’ll hit chest all over again and continue with my new program.
