For some reason people seem to quite often ask me for relationship advice, not quite as much as training or diet advice but quite often all the same. I always tell people, I’m probably the last person to ask for relationship advice since I’m 36 years old, single (unless you count my pet lizard, Satan) and can barely hold a conversation that doesn’t revolve around training or the band Iron Maiden. It’s not a subject I claim to be an expert in.
Regardless, Valentines Day is coming up and it got me thinking…
Now I would never be so SHALLOW as to suggest that body shape and appearance is such an important factor in getting into a relationship or making one work. HOWEVER, I think having an awesome attitude to life, taking care of your health (both physical and emotional), enjoying yourself more and generally being a happier, more pleasant person to be around is probably a good thing! And that’s a big slice of the benefits of training.
