So far this week i’ve done some pretty damn good workouts for chest, back and shoulders. Hopefully i will make it to train arms over the weekend, depending on how i pull up after nightshifts. Otherwise i’ll do arms on Monday and legs on Tuesday.

Cardio kickboxing was cancelled last night due to crappy weather. Also I have a bit of bronchitis or something which didn’t help.

The bronchitis is a wake up call. For the past few weeks i’ve been talking about fixing up all my weak points, working harder on traps, rear delts, forearms etc. What i just realised is that my real weakness has always been the same part, and it’s the one that I’ve always avoided addressing; my LUNGS.

So i’ve decided, as soon as we start getting some warmer weather I will add some lap swimming into my program. I have a pool close by so it should all be good and easy. I’ve determined my target heart rate should be around 135 bmp. We’ll see how long I can keep that up for.

Along with the cardio kickboxing i think this should hopefully be enough to finally get my lungs under control.
