I have been struck down with a bit of a cold + bronchitis this week so I am very behind schedule on my plans for more video features for the site. Also I have been kept busy writing exercise programs and nutrition plans for some clients, which is a nice thing to be busy with.

This week I plan to get a lot of videos done, covering squats, lunges, pull ups / chin ups, and probably a few more exercises that I’ll think of between now and then. Of course then I’ll need to edit the videos, add some music, titles and credits and upload to youtube which all takes time, but I will definitely have at least one more video feature up this week.

As for training… this past week I only managed to train once due to the cold I’ve had, so I am ITCHING to get stuck back into it again. If you follow my blog regularly you’ll already know about the five day split weight training program that I’m currently using,  but you’ll also know that I love to keep changing things up, so I’ve decided instead of 5 sets of 10 reps of each exercise, I will try to go a little bit heavier and do 6 sets of 8 reps. Or perhaps 5 sets of 8, and 1 set of 10 to keep to a total of 50 reps.

I’m not sure how optimistic I am about actually being able to increase the amount of weight I’m lifting after coming back from a week off with a cold, but I’ll do my best!
