By far the biggest news is that in the coming week I will be finalising the details and officially announcing an arrangement to train my clients at Doherty’s 24/7 Gym. This is a very exciting development as Doherty’s is such a tremendously well stocked gym, complete with a pro-shop for supplements, training gear, clothing and so forth. I’ve really been enjoying working out at Doherty’s and I am certain that DHPT + Doherty’s will = big results for my clients!
I’ll be updating the site with lots more details about my training packages at Doherty’s, so stay tuned for that.
Also in the very near future I will be conducting some interviews with some very successful international Personal Trainers and figure and fitness models who I have been fortunate enough to be able to compare training, nutrition and business tips with. This will be informative reading and may offer a slightly different perspective from my own.
Other big news for me is that I’ve decided to participate in this years Mother’s Day Classic charity run in Melbourne. I will most probably do the 4km event, although I may try the 8km if I think I’m up to it. This is a major deal for me, as the last time I can remember doing any sort of running event was the Interschool Cross Country when I was in Grade 6. I’ve always just been into the weight training and neglected the cardio side of things, so this is my way of turning a weakness into a strength. And of course by posting it here, I HAVE TO follow through on the plan. That’s called leverage, and it’s a handy tool to strengthen your resolve.
Also I have plans for an “Ask Dave” page on here, where you can all post your fitness & nutrition questions. Feel free to just ask away in the comments section at the bottom of this post for the time being.
My training video is still in the works too. I need to get some sort of attachment to go between the new computer and the old video camera, but we’ll get that happening soon!
That is all for now. Keep those questions coming, eat well, train hard and be amazing!
