D is for The Difference.
Well really the D is for David, but it makes a good headline doesn’t it?
There are a few differences you may have already noticed between my website and other fitness related sites on the net. It was important to me that this site be an accurate representation of my self and my business.
With that in mind, some things you won’t see on this site include; stock photos of professional fitness models (who I’ve never met or trained with!), sales pitches written for me by marketing people, cookie cutter corporate website design or anything else that doesn’t come straight from me, Dave Hargreaves – the ex-rock star, security guard and soon to be YOUR personal trainer!
Instead of any of that, what you get is just a guy who really loves training and knows he can help you to get motivated and get results with your personal fitness goals.
The P is for Personal.
Personal is the key word in the phrase “Personal Training”. From the client’s perspective, the program should be tailored to your personal needs as an individual, and not just a one-size-fits-all approach.
From the trainer’s perspective, your business is in selling yourself and your knowledge, which comes in part from study but also from years of personal experience in the gym chasing your own fitness goals.
So as well as the cold hard facts about calories and muscle fibre and body composition, I’m also trying to show a little of my own personality and humour on the site. Because this really is Dave Hargreaves Personal Training, not “generic fitness business #672a.”
